Awesome capture. Thanks for putting up with the odor to get this for us to see.

Great scenery, Ksenia which I have visited in 1986. The smell was definitely the same!

Artist's Description

Morocco, Leather Tinnery in Fes.
It was 2006. I visited this place with my class (I was a student at Kendal college of Art and Design). The only thing I can remember right now is the smell. The horrible odor that was present everywhere. We were presented with a tiny leaf of mint that was suppose to mask the stink. Leather, leather and more leather everywhere, wet and dry....Then we entered a terrace. And then this view. COLOR everywhere. So authentic and so unique. The black doorways and the windows without glass, there is some kind of order in this chaos. Absolutely breathtaking, also for the reason that it was impossible to breath.
